I think this was a very good story. It's different from a lot of John Grisham's earlier works and other law thrillers. He told the story in first person, which is different and refreshing, and from the perspective of a Black male, which he's never done before. The main character is a brilliantly clever man and very very smart-he kept me on my toes the whole time. I had no idea what he would do next. There wasn't a lot of action like JG's earlier works that have been made into movies, but it was still interesting. And the plot twist just made me smile.
