DUNE MESSIAH FUCKING ROCKS. Yeah there’s no action, yeah it’s slower even than Dune but GOD DAMN, the political intrigue is kicked up to 11. Shit gets even weirder too. Alia is an adult, Paul is a maniac, and Chani is there lmao. But for real, I loved the machinations that Princess Irulan and her accomplices set in motion. Really drove home the point of Dune regarding hero worship and religious fervor.
