I went into this book blind off of a recommendation without even reading the back! The cosmic-pandemic horror hit close to home and I really enjoyed the plot as a whole. The voice of the piece weaves in gruesome body horror and quirky millennialism that I struggled with at times, but as a Muir fan I'm aware I'm throwing stones from a very rickety glass house. I didn't 100% hate it, in fact some lines had me giggling, but some just came off as dated.
