emotional funny lighthearted sad

Julia Quinn's book are my guilty pleasure and this wasn't any different. I enjoyed the character and their personalities and in this book the miscommunication aspect didn't bother me, but added to the story.
I do wish we could have seen a bit more of Mirandas views that we saw when she was declined by a bookshop worker about buying a book in a "men's" bookshop. She had a temperament that I related and I liked how Turner saw beneath that. I was a bit frustrated with the whole Turner not being able to say that he loves Miranda even tho I do understand the reasoning. The birth scene was done well and it was heartwarming to see Turner and his mom treat Miranda with so much love
