Oh my goodness I finally finished it. June was a bit busy, and I was also in a stump with this book where I wasn't super interested but I wanted to finish it, so there was not much motivation to read.
I think the initial premise is intriguing, and the opening bits had me hooked. But it takes so long to actually get going, and by the time it got going I didn't really care. There were also a lot of characters to keep track of, and I didn't really care about any of them enough to remember who was who. I enjoy lots of Dean Koontz's books (those interested in him, "phantoms" is my favorite) but was not a big fan of this one.
Oh and the revelation at the end was kind of underwhelming in my opinion.
