The Sea King's Daughter by Barbara Michaels, Elizabeth Peters

4.0

In these nerve-wracking times, it's nice to take a break from contemporary issues and read an escapist suspense novel from the 70's about a Minoan cult.

There were references to Mary Renault, the Bridey Murphy reincarnation case, the 20th century Atlantis craze (much more fun that the 19th century Atlantis craze with all it's crystals and automatic writing), the Exodus-caused-by-a-volcano theory, and Evel Knievel. Perfect.
