This was a good starter maybe for people who wanted a biography cliff-notes style. I just felt like there wasn't much depth to the individuals because of the very nature of the book. After reading Metaxas' longer biographies with was a bit of a disappointment. My father, on the other hand, loved this book! He kept stealing it from me as I tried to finish it!
