1.25

This book was a love to hate love book. I have lots of cons about reading this book so let’s talk.

CONS

-a third act breakup in 2024? No thanks. Especially not over something so small like just talk? You love each other? TALK ABOUT IT.

-triggers being written about with no trigger warnings? What the actual fuck. It wasn’t even small triggers a huge point of this book is a trigger warning how do you NOT mention that.

- I am a smut reader I don’t mind smut I don’t even mind dark smut. But the smut in this book? I have never been so put off by the thoughts and the way she wrote it out. Something’s are better not written and half of the smut scenes with the thoughts from Garrett are those.

- this feels written by a guy who has never experience life with a women and doesn’t know women’s sex life.

Pros

-it’s a happy ever after which is nice for my romantic self

-there were moments where I loved them and I think if the writing was different I would’ve loved this book

-the way the friends all came together and developed I enjoyed.

Overall I say at best this book is a 3.25 because it’s a little bit better than a 3 but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone to read.
