I wasn't sure what to expect from this because while I've really enjoyed some of Ronson's books, I've found others a bit disappointing. Overall I found both books pretty interesting though. A few stories felt dated and there were a couple of chapters which were a bit thin but mostly I found his subjects pretty captivating. There's a real mix of serious and more frivolous topics but the same thread of eccentricity runs through them thanks to his style of journalism.
