Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett
4.0

Discworld! I wanted to read all the D.W. books in publishing order, so I read Colour of Magic, but the Light Fantastic was unavailable. I'm glad I read this between Ricewind, cause let's be honest, it's a lot more sane. I'm glad I got to see the Unseen University, cause....

WIZZARDS!

Just my little joke (spelling). Actually, I think I might prefer witches to wizards on the disc, on account of how much more "smart" they are. (Headology, boffo, general cleverness) Well, wizards are more bookish.
Something about Eskarina's character didn't sit right with me, with some paragraphs saying she was eleven, but I just read her as eight.
The art was kinda wrong, representing Granny wheatherwax as old, pimply, hag, as it is specified that she is not. (I've gotta talk more about wheatherwax, but no time)
Also, it discusses modern issues like sexism, so it feels it is written today.

(Lost a star because it was a touch heavy-handed about the aforementioned issues.)

(There is also a mention of a one dollar note, so it kinda ruins Making Money.)

Well lots to say little time. I'll gush about wheatherwax later. AKA in a year or so.
