Okay, so I just finished Book 4 of The Kings Dark Tidings, and wow. Just… wow. You know how some series start strong and then kind of… meander? Not this one. KDT Kingdom And Chaos somehow manages to elevate everything I already loved about this world and these characters, without a single misstep.
The action is relentless, the world-building continues to expand in mind-blowing ways, and the characters? Oh, the characters! They're so incredibly well-developed, you feel like you're right there with them, cheering them on (or maybe yelling at them, depending on the situation). The author has this incredible knack for weaving complex plots that keep you guessing, without ever feeling convoluted.
If you've been following the series, you already know what a treat this is. If you haven't, what are you even doing with your life?! Seriously, go pick up Book 1. You won't regret it. As for me? I'm just sitting here, staring at the wall, wondering how long to wait to pick up Book 5. My only complaint is that I read it too fast. Again.
