Pacific Rim: Man, Machines & Monsters by David S. Cohen

4.0

Pacific Rim is a fun movie aimed right at the 11-year-old boy in all of us. Even if the ladies. This art book does a really good job of showing the development of the design and look of the movie. I do wish it had more rejected designs, because I always find those interesting, often more so than the ones that make it into the final movie. The behind-the-scenes peek at Del Toro's working style was equally as interesting.

This is definitely aimed at a niche market of movie fans, of which I am one. If you like these sorts of books, you'll enjoy this one.
