Moderate: Cancer, Grief, and Stalking
The hero has stalkers who are generally more nuisance than threatening but it is a consistent plot line. The hero also punishes himself for the death of his younger brother who died in a car wreck with him. The mother has cancer and that's what brings the hero back home and he lives home while she recovers. It is not graphic.
