While the mystery may not be ground-breaking, this book does everything the series did, and had the opportunity to do a bit more than the movie did, in terms of plot and character development instead of the "here's what everyone's been doing!" that took up most of the movie (not that I minded that, but it was nice to see some development after that).
But it's more snarky Veronica, social commentary, and a mystery case that becomes just a bit too personal! Everything you could want if you've been craving more of the tv series.
