An intense story of passion, grief, guilt, and revenge, with a fixed gaze upon the emotional range of human beings. Everyone knows about the monster, but to read the story firsthand is a completely different experience. 

Mary Shelley writes with such ferver and eloquence that I've never read before. Hands down my favorite classic!
