Whilst I was not the target age range for this book, I still enjoyed it. It's adorable and heartwarming and I think a really lovely read, and one that could be really important for younger readers. It covers some really important and quite complex themes - being true to yourself, changing your opinions on people you previously didn't gel with as you grow up, islamophobia, accepting others & learning and accepting cultural differences...but these themes are written about and tackled in a way that is appropriate for young audiences and in a way they can understand and relate to. Despite this book being quite a short read, I found it really sweet and think that if I enjoyed it, younger readers will LOVE it.
Moderate: Islamophobia
