For a mystery/suspense fan like me this series is right up my reading alley. It is dark but not too over the edge with some strong lead characters in Jess and Dan. Which by the way I like the way that their relationship is developing. They both have issues but these make them real. Thus I am more invested in them.
The serial killer is evil. The killings he conducts might not be for the weak of heart. Although there are not a lot of gory details spent on the killings. The cat and mouse game between Jess and the killer is a good one. There can only be one winner but until the end game there will be blood and bodies.
