Great start to a series. I didn't love the backdrop of the no accepting town and the choosing to return to that town in the first place (maybe there is another book that explains this idk but I didn't see the appeal aside from Lilac).
Both men were kind of adorable. Nash's turn around seemed a lot at once. But also I got legit feels when reading the last bit of the book. I felt like secondary characters needed ... More. I know some will get their own books but I needed to know them a bit more or a bit less, idk. Even if there were parts that were meh, for all those feels I gotta go with 5 stars!
