Sticks and Stones by S. Massery, S.J. Sylvis

well this was the definition of not even enemies to lovers but rivals to lovers. I did not know how we were going to get along period let alone fall for one another šŸ˜‚.

Wren had a terrible past and to save her future does something that really screws with Stone’s future (or it would’ve had he not had the dad that he did). fast forward to college and Wren ends up sharing a room with Stone which goes about as well as expected. one prank is taken too far and we find out a lot more about Wren’s past and how little Stone knew when he set his prank in motion.

Wren & Stone fall into this relationship and Stone was way more possessive/obsessed than I thought he would be. did he take things to far and keep things from Wren to protect her, yes. but also she never had that (outside of Evan’s family).

I did find it odd that her ex (that cheated on her) didn’t play a bigger role in this story. also, Stone’s dad really needed an ā€œI told you soā€ after that ending even though i’m sure he would care.
