This was another sexy and entertaining read in the Shifter Ops series by Renee Rose and Lee Savino! I love when authors are able to allow readers to see a different side to villains, so I was stoked when I realized that this would be Gabriel and Tabitha's story. Gabriel is the epitome of what an ancient dragon would embody--possessive, controlling, and absolutely obsessed with his mate's safety. My only complaint is that I feel like Tabitha's reservations about becoming Gabriel's mate went on for too long, only for them to be too easily forgotten about towards the end. I felt like the action towards the end deserved to be fleshed out more, but overall I enjoyed this novel and cannot wait for Channing's story next ♡
