THE ENDING WAS FIRE! Solid book. A little slower than the first book, more focused on the romance than it is on the adventure. But when there is action it’s pretty great.

Because it was moving more slowly I took more note of the writing style and found it to be pretty average, not bad but not sweeping my away.

I enjoyed the evolution of the characters relationships and the fantasy world. Overall it was an enjoyable read.
