Atonement by Ian McEwan
4.25
Ian McEwan has a way of writing that will never fit my preferences, he writes insanely long inner monologues and streams of consciousnesses and I keep losing track.
However, when I think about the story of "Atonement" it's so beautiful and it goes very deep, which I think he could only accomplish by sharing so much of the inner thoughts of the characters? So I get why he writes the way he writes, I will just never be a big fan. I will however read more of his books.
