Saving Grace
by Christine Zolendz
I enjoyed "Fall From Grace" so much that I simply had to start "Saving Grace" soon after finishing the first book. This sequel continues the story of Grace Taylor and Shane Maxton, a.k.a. Selah and Shamsiel, respectively. Gabriel showed his true colors at the end of "Fall from Grace" and becomes even more of a thorn in the side of Grace. The relationship between Grace and Shane still has that stop and go factor going on, which proved to be a tad more frustrating in this book than in the first one.
I had to give "Saving Grace" a lower rating than the previous book because I felt the writing in the first one was better. The story itself was still good but the presentation wasn't what I was expecting so I was somewhat disappointed. However, I was happy that there was no cliffhanger here and that the story came to a conclusion that I was quite satisfied with. ^.^
