"There is no one so broken they are completely unsalvageable. There is no life so hopeless tomorrow can’t be at least a little better."

If you are only going to take one book recommendation from me, this is it. I'm usually pretty selective about the YA I read, but this should be on everyone's list.

Things i loved:
🫶The sapphic yearning
🫶The mental health rep
🫶Overcoming religious trauma
🫶Self-acceptance journey
🫶The interactions between Avery and her parents

AND ALL OF THIS HAPPENS WHILST THERES AN IMPENDING APOCALYPSE!!
This is beautiful and heartbreaking, and I'm freaking speechless. What a book

TW:
Mental illness, depression, suicidal ideation, suicide (not on the page), homophobia, sexual harassment, gun violence, religious bigotry.
