I had the great pleasure of reading a printed ARC copy of this (perks of being an indie bookseller!). White never misses with his novels and this is his most visceral yet. Absolutely warrants being adult over YA. This book is short but jam packed with incredibly strong characterization. While I'm not typically a horror reader, this book is perfect for the moment we are in right now. If you enjoy reading novels like Tender Is The Flesh you'll voraciously consume this novel like I did.
