Great Conclusion to Persephone/Hades' Story 💕
I hate that this got so many negative reviews from people who were like "who is Dionysus" and "why are there multiple POVs all of a sudden" because I think that it was completely fitting to anyone that was also reading Hades' books. Y'all already know I love Dionysus, and my biggest complaint with his story is definitely just the feeling of loose ends- I really wish we had gotten to see a bit of an epilogue for him at least because his story felt very abruptly ended. I am also beyond excited for an Aphrodite/Hephaestus story though, so who knows what we'll see of Dionysus in that? I need it yesterday though!
Outside of those complaints, I can definitely see how things can get confusing with the sheer number of characters and due to the chaos of the gods that inspired the series, but I think Scarlett St Clair did a great job! It was a very fun, soap-opera-type series that kept me entertained from beginning to end. And I'm very satisfied with the conclusion to Persephone/Hades' story 💕
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 (It didn't blow me away, but there was a lot of it)
