I don’t know what to say. It was heartbreaking, eye opening, and yet hopeful. It made me feel seen and also made me understand myself in a way I never had. While I struggled with the beginning of the book, the structure of it became clear as the story progressed, and I couldn’t imagine it be presented in a different way. This book literally brought tears to my eyes, though that may be in part from staying up all night to finish it.
