Once again, beautiful writing and a beautiful translation. Showing the innate loneliness of being a sexual minority in a place where it only got decriminalised two decades ago. Growing up, not knowing who to trust, but also not knowing whether you can fully be yourself around the people you care about. It's lonely, and this book captures that beautifully.
The prose is stunning, clear, humorous, and distinct. There are a bunch of beautiful quotes, with one of my favourites being: " Sometimes his very existence to me is the existence of love itself. "
