This memoir surprised me. Given the really very bad cover and topic (local history of a near government conspiracy) I  thought it was going to suck. Just being honest. But it was very well researched and written! And the narration was good as well. I’m sure my proximity to the hot zone and work history makes this more interesting for me in particular but I think anyone with an interest in the Cold War could enjoy this.
