cadiva 's review for:
Hand Picked
by May Archer
Sunshine in book form
It's official, if I want to read a book which is just joyous and makes me so happy, I'll pick up a May Archer romance.
Hand Picked is sunshine in book form, it's got one of the cinnamony-est characters to every have been a sweetheart roll in Luke.
And, when you add in grumpy Webb and his adorable 7-year-old son Aiden, a ridiculous historic town ordinance from the 1700s and a drunken bugle blowing, you get this fabulous feel good narrative
I already wish Little Pippin Hollow was a real place. It's the kind of caring town that Jimmy Stewart's George Bailey would find himself right at home.
With all the madcap hilarity that ensues as the two men manage to fall in love while they're supposed to be avoiding completing any of the handfasting requirements, this book had me smiling from start to finish.
Loved it and cannot wait for Hawk and Jack's next.
