Overall this is a really great book for a look into the arctic landscape, people, animals, explorers, and history. It doesn't go in any kind of chronological order of the writer's own travels, but rather a telling of an aspect of the arctic through a series of themes, such as the muskox, animal migrations, the native people, day and night, and the European explorers. It is very nicely written and enjoyable. Really great for anyone who enjoys reading about the arctic or antarctic.
