If you want to read a story about a woman who loves others so deeply while they decide to lie to her, manipulate her, abandon her, and sit back as she is traumatized over and over again and at the end she decides they deserve her forgiveness then this is the book for you!!! Had potential but instead ended up being the story about how you can just use someone with a good heart and say ‘oops my bad’ and they let it go.

And her mom isn’t dead? Get real, I’m not reading the other two books but you can bet there’s literally no good reason their mom could have just abandoned her children to be beaten and abused for years and years. Save it, what a waste of time.
