3.5 Stars. I ended up loving the ending of this book and I found myself anxiously waiting until I could pick this up to find out what happened next. The first half of the book was a slow start and the writing did not flow for me. The second half picked up and things became more complex, and I really liked the premise: what could go wrong when 5 coworkers go on a 3-day wilderness hike that is meant as a team-building exercise? I liked this book enough that I want to go back and read the first book in the series, “The Dry”.
