DNF this book. Half way in (actually at a 40% to the end of the book) I decided I was not going to finished. After reading about 250 pages without nothing going on I decided that I was not going to lose more of my time with this book. Also, I did not like reign of the Fallen that much but I wanted to give this duology a second opportunity but obviously Song of the Dead was even worse for me than it’s predecessor.

My biggest problem with Song of the dead is that it does not happen anything. It may in the end but after 250 pages I am not sure of what is going on. Also, I kind of find this book really immature. Most of it the romantic part and it’s a big part of the book.

So yeah, I did not enjoyed this duology but I’m pretty sure there’s someone out there that probably will love it.
