The Only One Left
by Riley Sager
It took me around 20% of the way through to get into the story, but once I did, I liked it! There were too many twists and turns, and I only managed to guess some of the big reveals, which is major. With many thrillers, I can guess them all. The characters were also a lot of fun and mostly likeable, and the villains were villainous. If you like thrillers mixed with rich people's family drama mixed with the backdrop of a moody, dilapidated house on a cliff, then you'll like this! The ending is still outlandish but whatever. I'll take it. The ending with the characters reveal their decisions is what made it 3 stars instead of 4.
