I really liked the premise of this being friends to lovers/second chance romance but wow, the miscommunication nearly took me out. It’s not miscommunication so much as it is a straight up lack of communication. And there’s some self awareness about it that made the lack almost worse. Margo knew she needed to talk to Olivia but she didn’t think she should have to tell her how she felt? You should always air on the side of spelling things out. The third act conflict felt unnecessary especially since they’d resolved just about all their issues by then. I did like the ending and I liked Olivia’s character (and Cat) but sometimes Margo was grating.
