I can see how mass worked hard to develop Rhys’ character, but I felt that some of the romance and love scenes were long and drawn out.

Honestly, the book did not start to pick up until about 60% of the way through. I remember thinking, “Man… When is something interesting going to happen?”

Then next thing I know
Lucian is behind Feyre telling her that he’s been hunting her for the last few months.
From then on, the rest of the story is tense until the end.

There’s a lot of good examples of relationships and the sacrifices people are willing to make for relationships. Even if that means having to choose between two loved ones.

Overall, I really loved this book. I enjoyed it more than the first one. This was definitely a change of mood, and I look forward to the next one.
