Tea for Two and a Piece of Cake by Preeti Shenoy

4.0

I bought this book a few months back but never read. But today, I wanted a light read- a simple, easy to relate, fast one. And the book didn’t disappoint. The love story flows easily. I was hooked to the book and I loved the idea that love is not always about perfection- but understanding, respect and honesty.

Preeti Shenoy, has told us a marvelous story about marriage not being the bed of roses like we think of it to be. The determination which Nisha shows after the separation from her husband is inspirational. She finds her calling as Akash enters her life.

The book is gripping and a fast read. You wouldn’t keep it down until you finish. It is a good page-turner and the language is simple and lucid. The cover page was a let down and probably that’s the sole reason I didn’t pick the book to read though it was perched on my shelf. :)

P.S: I liked the other cover page though!
