This is one of the most incredible books I've ever read.
Kuang's writing is beautiful and inspiring. This is an author who knows exactly what she's doing the reader, controlling the story with masterful precision.
There are too many impeccably written moments to choose from but Kuang has made her choices in this book with great accuracy, for very specific reasons with very purposeful effect that has left me reeling.
I'll definitely re-read this when my heart has recovered.
