Exile by R.A. Salvatore
4.0
More or less on the same level as the first book. We pick up the story approx. 10 years after the previous book. Drizzt has learned to survive in the Underdark by himself, but his life of solitude has become one of loneliness. He feels like he is loosing himself and becoming more a creature of survival. As the book begins, he finally decides to look for some kind of interaction, despite eventual costs.
This book is more fast paced than the first book. We get both the political side in the Dark Elf city as well as the adventures of Drizzt. He works better as a character when he finds some companions in this book and the stakes increases as the family back home decides to bring Drizzt back home, dead or alive
