I wasn't really sure what to expect going into this one. But ended up knocking it out in two days and listened when on the go while reading the physical book at home. I enjoyed how the book dealt with the after effects of divorce, the grief that can come with it and learning to find yourself outside of someone else. Which I feel can be hard.

Throughout the book I felt like I was facetiming a girlfriend or sitting around drinking wine while they ranted or told a story about their day. I enjoyed this aspect and I think it's a large part of what made me invested in the book. I also liked how there were a handful of characters within the friend group who popped in and out of the story. I took it as a nod to how as an adult, it can be hard to make schedules align and meet up with friends, but shows the support even when they're not physically there.

Overall, I liked the book, but felt there was a lot of random scenes and moments that could have been left out.
