So, this is my third time listening to this book, and I loved it just as much. I'm not sure why I didn't review it before, but it is possible I did and goodreads lost it, lol.

There are flaws but both characters are so real. There is a lot of action and danger, but it was great to see D open up. It had been long enough since I listened to it last that I had forgotten some details; it was like getting to listen to it the first time!

I just wish I had remembered to skip D's recount of a op gone bad in the epilogue - I really didn't need that image in my head. If you are at all squeamish about bad things happening to children, I suggest you skip it too.
