And Don't F&%k It Up: An Oral History of Rupaul's Drag Race (the First Ten Years) by Maria Elena Fernandez, World of Wonder

informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

4.75

This book does a great job of capturing the essence of RuPaul's Drag race. You got to read about behind the scenes, which I will say breaks the illusion of the show. You learn about the creation of the show as well as a more in depth look into the most iconic moments and drama that happened during the show. We here from production crew, the judges, the queens from the first 10 seasons and of course mama Ru herself. The show is already an inspiration to many, but I believe this book adds to the magic and change that mama Ru is bringing to the world!
