I haven't lived in NYC in almost 30 years, but books about the City always make me nostalgic. This one and The Colossus of New York by Colson Whitehead made me want to re-visit this year. In this book, each borough of the city gets its own avatar, and has to assemble to fight a mysterious enemy. Fittingly, no one cares about Staten Island. Probably going to knock off a half-star, though, because
