So far, this is my absolute favorite book by Pepper Winters that I have read. The storyline, the pacing, the depth to the characters and the fact that they are not innocent and entirely redeemable kept me hooked.
I’m a huge fan of captive romances and this story didn’t disappoint. I loved that Tess and Q’s story wasn’t an HEA of rainbows and unicorns. It was dark and depraved and messy. Each character wasn’t essentially good or bad, but somewhere in between. And it’s that gray area that this book lives in.
Absolutely addicting! I can’t wait to read the next.
