I had watched the movie first growing up and loved it. Finally reading the book years later, it made me fall in love with this story once again. Though in some ways, I liked the movie better
How the author wrote May’s death wasn’t as emotional as I felt it was in the movie.
. The book was still good and the imagery went a long way.
