Daredevil by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson Vol. 1 by Frank Miller

5.0

I read this complete run probably 10-12 years ago; it is one of the greatest comic epics ever. The stories with just Miller and Janson on art are good and read like the end of an era. There is an immediate change when Miller takes over writing and pencils, both in the style of the stories, the cast of characters, and the quality level of the art. Daredevil shares much of what makes Spider-Man great (one man trying make a difference against overwhelming odds, street level action, gallows humor) but gets to pair it with a more adult story. Can’t wait to read Vols. 2 & 3. Highly recommended.
