This book is so absurd that it borders campy. Maybe that was intentional, but that's not my vibe. It would've been nice if one of the heroes was disabled instead of the villain; I'm tired of seeing disabled people as the villains. As others have said, the twist was more like a curve, and the
love confession
felt unfounded even though it happend 90% of the way through the book. The whole thing was just overwritten, and I can't believe there's going to be a sequel.
