This one was a solid mystery but not one of Christie’s best. The way Poirot gets involved is really funny and I appreciated it, but it’s just not the most intriguing mystery, and her red herrings and misdirects weren’t really strong enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are all young adults, staying in a student hostel, and as someone who recently lived in a university dorm it was maybe too soon for me to read it. Still an entertaining book though! Just not as suspenseful and mysterious as some of her other novels.
