I needed a Cassandra Clare fix, and this came out right in time. Somehow, impossibly, I'm even more excited for Chain of Gold.
This book was full of short stories that centered around Jem Carstairs, and other important characters in the Shadowhunter universe. The stories provided insight on secrets in the Shadowhunter world, and gave clues to what might happen later in the series.
It still amazes me that people have not read these books.
